History
Eight dates trace the village from two fishing cottages to a seaside resort. Every entry links directly to its source.
Brüggemann described Heidebrink as property of the town of Kamień Pomorski, consisting of two fishing cottages. Their occupants fished in both the Baltic Sea and the Kamień Lagoon.

Międzywodzie lies between the Baltic Sea and the Kamień Lagoon. The official village plan links the Polish name, meaning ‘between waters’, with this setting.
A maritime harbour boundary was established in 1992. An order dated 24 May 2000 repealed that act; the official journal confirms both dates.
On 24 July 1966, an adult rockhopper penguin appeared on the beach. The Polish Faunistic Commission classifies it as an unnatural occurrence, while local memory preserved the name Maciuś.
The Międzywodzie bathing area received the Blue Flag in 2013, 2015 and every year from 2018 to 2026. The seasonal certificate covers water quality, safety, accessibility, education and environmental management.
